In short
- This policy covers the 9Books website at 9books.ai, run by Wewer Technologies Inc. (also known as Wewer, Inc.) in British Columbia, Canada.
- We collect what you type into our beta and contact forms, plus basic analytics.
- We use it to respond to you and run the beta. We don’t sell it.
- Privacy questions or requests? Send them from our Contact page with the topic “Privacy enquiry”.
1. Who we are
9Books is a product of Wewer Technologies Inc., also known as Wewer, Inc., based in British Columbia, Canada (“we”, “us”).
2. What we collect
Beta form: your name, work email, company name and, if you choose, the kind of business you run.
Contact form: your name, email, the topic, optionally your company, and your message.
With both forms we also receive the page you submitted from and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source).
We do not ask for client, invoice or financial data, and ask you not to include it.
3. How we use it
To respond to your message, to contact you about beta access, and to understand which channels bring people to 9Books. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
4. How form submissions are handled
Form submissions are sent by email to the 9Books team and are not stored in a separate database on this website. Emails are kept in our business inbox.
5. Analytics and cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how pages are used. In Quebec, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, or when we can’t tell where you are, Google Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept. Elsewhere they’re on by default, and you can turn them off at any time using “Analytics preferences” in the footer.
We set a small cookie to remember your analytics choice (mm_consent) and a short-lived cookie with your approximate region (mm_geo) so we know whether to ask. Google Analytics is configured without advertising features.
6. Service providers
We use Amazon Web Services to host this site and send email, Cloudflare for DNS and privacy-friendly analytics, and Google for analytics. They process information on our behalf. Some of these providers may process information outside Canada.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
9. Contact
Send a “Privacy enquiry” from our Contact page.
